About Our Rescue
Safe Haven Animal Rescue aka SHARE has one goal in mind, to SAVE THE UNWANTED. Our mission is to restore the faith in animals left behind. Whether it’s a stray that was dumped or an owner surrender, we are dedicated to educating the public on the importance of spay/neuter and heart worm prevention.
We are a foster home-based rescue operating across Acadiana. We are always looking for responsible, loving foster families to help save an animal.
Every animal entrusted in our care receives thorough vetting, heartworm treatment/preventative and is spayed/neutered. Before going to their new home, each animal is microchipped.
We screen each adoption application carefully to ensure that we match the right pet to the right home.
